Haining Li was born in ShannXi, China, in 1995. She received her B.Sc. in Light Chemical Engineering at Qiqihar University in 2016. In 2023, she received her Master's degree in Biological Resources Chemistry and Utilisation under the supervision of Professor Xiaoli Zhang. During her Master's studies, she investigated the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine-DHA (PC-DHA) by alkali-catalyzed ester exchange reaction.

In 2023, she joined the Nairoukh group as a Ph.D. candidate. Not only is Haining passionate about research, but she also enjoys reading, running, and hiking.
